See Rules to learn how to play, then come back here.
In this version of the game, you are playing against the battlefield. It has it's own deck and discard pile.
At the start of the single-player game:
- You shuffles your deck of exactly 12 cards.
- You shuffle a deck of 12 cards for the battlefield.
- Place all 12 cards facing down onto the battlefield. Each card should have a free space touching it. No card should have all of its sides and corners touching other cards. There needs to be space for you to place your cards on the battlefield.
- You draw 5 cards from your deck into your hand.
At the start of your turn:
- Draw a card from your deck and put into your hand.
- Place a warrior onto the battlefield. Start revealing the battlefield cards touching it.
Revealing battlefield cards: Flip up (reveal) any battlefield card that is facing down and is touching your warrior. As you reveal each card, play it and act in the best interest of the battlefield. If you reveal a warrior, you must battle it. If your warrior is flipped during the revealing process, stop revealing the battlefield cards touching it. Reveal battlefield cards again if you place another warrior during this turn as a result of a Flash or Warrior ability.
- After revealing process is done for the card(s) you placed, you may battle any other face-up cards like normal.
- Your turn is over when you have revealed all cards possible and are satisfied with battles and Flash cards are played.
Battle Rules:
- In single player mode, when one of the battlefield's warrior loses a battle, it is discarded instead of flipped. Your warriors are flipped when they lose.
Game Over:
- In single player mode, the game is over when you are out of cards to draw and you have no cards left in your hand or if you forfeit. Your goal is to discard all of the battlefield's cards. If you can do this before Game Over, you win the single player mode!
Constructing a Battlefield deck:
- Choose warriors that have simple abilities like "Gain X rolls when" and avoid abilities like "Look at your opponents hand" or anything that deals with moving or flipping.
