What is Colosseum Nirvana?
A game with unique and engaging gameplay with sexy pinup warriors. It’s a “Cake and eat it too” adult trading card game.
Our ultimate goal is to create a space for artists to do what they love. We want to commission many artists to help make the art for the cards. We cannot do it alone and we do not use AI at any step of the process. This is our first funded project as a small game studio of two people. We commissioned three amazing artists out of pocket. We are excited to bring on many more and build an amazing game together.
What sets us apart from other similar projects or creators?
We are family owned and operated. CN was created by Alex "Dev" Earley and his wife, Charlotte "Char" Earley. Everything is printed, assembled and packaged in the USA. We work with incredibly artists from around the globe. We are LGBTQ+ friendly. DevEarley has a background in game development and he has experience leading large teams on technical and creative projects.
We started this because of our history of creating games and are excited to publish our first game. This idea came about after many iterations. We made cards by hand with sharpies and then cut out B&W prototypes with scissors. It took a few months of playtesting, tweaking, starting over to get it where it is now. We love the game and we think it is super fun. We really can’t wait to see what others think of it.
Introducing Colosseum Nirvana!
Colosseum Nirvana is a deckbuilding card game with unique gameplay and pinup fantasy warriors! Players take turns placing "Warrior" cards on the battlefield. "Flash" cards and "Specialists" can be used together to build powerful combos. Use as many dice as you have to determine the outcome of battles! You only need one D20 to play, but it helps to have more! Each deck is exactly 12 cards. In this set, we designed 100 cards for you to choose from.
We support artists.
In the current version we have commissioned four pieces out of pocket and the rest of the art is hand made or from the public domain. Check out the Artists section of our website for more more info on that. This project is being made by husband and wife, Alex and Charlotte Earley. It has been in development for one year. The first iteration was made with markers and index cards. It had incredibly different rules. After months of playtesting and tweaking and more playtesting, it’s finally ready for primetime. Please join us in taking this the rest of the way!
One of the goals of this Kickstarter campaign is to fund art made by real people. Four beautiful cards have been commissioned out of pocket and are in the game now. The rest of the 96 cards has art from the Public Domain. We want to replace this art with more commissioned art. ( If you are an artist with open commission slots and you would like to work with us, email dev@sweetslice.com with your commission sheet. )
The artists we hire use their talent and experience to make art. We do not use any AI to generate images, text or any other aspect of our game, and never will.

The 32 card Base Set.
Because there are 12 cards in each deck, players only need 24 cards to play a game. With the base set of 32, you have many ways to configure your deck. We made this set draft friendly. Shuffle it, take a card and pass to your friend. Do this till you have 12 cards in your deck. Now you are ready to play!
Playing Colosseum Nirvana
To play, you just need a friend! If you both have Tabletop Simulator, you can subscribe to our workshop mod or you can play for free in the browser using PlayingCards.io. These aren't the full version of the game, instead are limited to a few pre-built decks of censored cards.
